I would like to thank you for Your position with regard to the Belarusian regime on behalf of the “Young Front”. To my deepest regret, we should state that there is an inaccuracy in the European Parliament’s resolution on Belarus dated March 29, 2012.
In claim 3 of the Resolution there is a list of people whose release the European Union will strive to achieve as the first priority.
There is an information that the Belarusian officials talk behind the scenes that the Belarusian political prisoners have already been divided into the “groups of importance” by the “price”, and by how much the international community and the Belarusian society insist on release of some of them, putting the others aside.
In connection with that, we are appealing to you not to be led by Lukashenka’s logics and not to divide the Belarusian political prisoners into “important” and “not important”, but to demand release of all of them, and to struggle for that.
