The “Young Front” activists, detained on August 2 near the correctional colony No. 9 in Horki, were sentenced to administrative detention for the terms from 10 till 17 days. Most of them were charged under two articles of the Administrative Code – participation in a non-sanctioned event and disobedience to the police.
The “Young Front” activists from Zhodzina are spreading their expansion and urging to stop tortures against Zmitser Dashkevich.
The activists disseminated informational leaflets calling on people to join the :Young Front”, as well as leaflets with the information about the destiny of the organization’s imprisoned leader Zmitser Dashkevich, who had been placed into a dungeon for the third time in a row by the colony’s administration.
The on-line petition in support of political prisoners Zmitser Bandarenka, Mikita Likhavid and Zmitser Dashkevich at the Facebook page has already been signed by more than 70 people. Among them there are Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu, Andrej Khadanovich, Liavon Volski, Aliaksandr Pamidorau and other famous civil and cultural activists of contemporary Belarus.

Representatives of the Belarusian diaspora in the USA sent a letter to the head of the correctional colony No. 9 in Horki, where Zmitser Dashkevich is imprisoned.
Belarusians of America express their concern with regard to the situation around Zmitser Dashkevich in the colony.
Informational stickers about political prisoner Zmitser Dashkevich appeared in a little Belarusian town Horki. The town is known by the Horki Agricultural Academy, where Europe’s last dictator Aliaksandr Lukashenka used to study, and the correctional colony No. 9, where Zmitser Dashkevich is imprisoned now. Taking into consideration the town signs, Dashkevich is more famous in Horki.
Administration of the colony in Horki did not let Zmitser Dashkevich’s lawyer see her client. The deputy head of the colony Aliaksandr Lapatka explained his actions by “following his personal interests”.
12 petitions demanding to soften the confinement regime for the political prisoners were filed to the Department on Serving Punishments on July 26.The petitions were signed by the participants of a smart-mob picket, organized through a social network Facebook. The participants of the action got together near the Department, signed petitions and brought them to the institution for registration one by one.
Zmitser Dashkevich got out of the disciplinary cell; however, according to the deputy head of the Department on Serving Punishments, Zmitser Dashkevich received another disciplinary punishment, for the third time since he had been sent to this colony.

We, Zmitser’s allies and friends, thank you for your attention and support of Belarusian political prisoners, Zmitser Dashkevich in particular. Unfortunately, Zmitser got into an unprecedented wave of repressions and harassment from the side of the administration of the colony where he is imprisoned.
Tatsiana Sieviarynets, the leader of the Belarusian Christian Democracy’s Vitsebsk regional branch, a mother of the political prisoner Paval Sieviarynets, is asking the head of the colony in Horki to make Zmitser Dashkevich’s life in prison easier:
