YOUNGFRONTEES RANSACKED BEFORE CHERNOBYL WAY DAY

On Monday, April 23 Kasia Halitskaya’s apartment was searched. The girl just was coming home when at the doorstep 5 unknown waited for her and attacked the girl unexpectedly.

The search was conducted but nothing ‘dangerous’ was found. The day before Pavel Siarhei disappeared. Later on he was found in Akhrestsin street detention center. The guy was detained on April 22 at 9 p.m. and drawn up under Article 17.1 for alleged disorderly conduct. Pavel Syarhei will stand trial only on Wednesday, April 25 at Frunzenski District court. The detention occurred up to the coming “ Chernobyl Way”.

“Deputy Head of Minsk Police Ihar Yauseeu with his ‘friends’ demonstrates the fear of popular protest action”, — said Mikalai Dzemidzenka, Deputy Chairman of the Youth Front.
The nervous and negative reaction to Young Front is demonstrated in forums and in social networks by Lukashenka’s followers who condemn youngfrontees in topical posters on Freedom Day.

26 years have passed since one of the most terrible tragedies of the world — the Chernobyl disaster. The catastrophe made a heavy impact on the fate of our nation.

Gathering of the participants of the “Chernobyl Way” will be held on April 26 at 18.30 at the headquarters of the Academy of Sciences, Minsk.
